I am going to let Lukka finish this hatch of three Barnevelders from Kelly's birds. She will raise them forever if she follows her usual pattern. But when she is raising babies she is happy, out and about, eating, clucking, teaching. When she is done with them she will go back down to the barn coop and any girl Barnevelders will stay in the layer coop.

Yes I still follow this thread.... everyday ! I don't butt in much since I am a non Icelandic owner, but the breed fascinates me, they are so beautiful. I may change that, Someday soon.... AND I love the humor here. Also started reading your blog Mary.

Well thanks Beth! It would be nice to have another Icelandic person amongst us! Thanks for following the blog. I love doing it and knowing that people are finally reading again makes me very happy.
