I agree Daron. But maybe just so I don't have to stop calling it Sweet Girl.

I was looking at my Icelandics, and one of my pullets looks just like your Lukka, only her tail is black, not blue.

My emu eggs are at the post office and I am going to get them! My Brooderbator is holding steady at 97.5 to 97.7 with the humidity at 30%! Kelly's Hovabator is plugged in and ready if something goes wrong. The postal scale is calibrated so I can track weights since i can't candle them. I am excited and scared! I will have a special page on my website posting the progress so please visit and cheer us on. 50-56 days is a long time to wait!

Now that I got all of the Icelandics from Jake's friend, and they are about half way through quarantine. They look good so far, and healthy. I now, have 11 roos and 3 pullets, and I am looking at the roos to see which goes or stay. I will keep 5 roos, and will sell the other 6 roos. I can post pictures of each roo, and I could use some help picking which to keep.

Daron I am happy either way! I am hoping for one roo of them. If so I will raise some chicks from them with feathered legs from both sides. Might get some Abominable Icelandics !!

It would be worth trying for a dozen or so before putting them into the general population.

The one pic of the brown one looking at the camera does look more like a pullets 'squat'. We shall see. I just want it to be one or the other.

Mary I do like the looks of your incubator !

Life is good and better with Icelandic Chickens and Pack Goats !
