Icelandic Chickens

Nope, they need to be together to produce enough different color variation.
I also have to 'loose' dark Cornish & some rocks.
DH has put his foot down since my injury...he is right.
If I am unable to get out there & deal with all my birds, then he is stuck doing it and that is not fair to him.
he did not say I had to get rid of all of them..just some of them.
And then I already had 6 Bantam Barnies ordered & they are here now....and geese in the spring he doesn't know about yet

Well, I talked about the geese....I did not say they were already ordered

All of my eggs but the ones that are laid tomorrow and Saturday are ready to put into the bators on Sunday.

All of the Polish and 7 Swedish Flower Hen eggs are arrived intact
... and the flower hen eggs inner box was wrapped in Christmas paper. LOVE YOU MARY!!! (THE Sheriff!)

WAHOO!!

Mahonri needs some for neighbor revenge.

And Shawn too - there wouldn't be any chicken stealing going on, or if they did, they'd bring it right back!

My husband would go postal over that crow.

Mary would have to change the name to Buck, Run and Chuckle.

Made me laugh!!

I can just see crazed neighbors smashing into coops with machetes and ear mufflers on ! At 4 am ! And pillows clamped to their heads.

Laughing like hyenas themselves !

Just what you need Dar !

I hung the nightlight so it points down at the nest that they are using, this morn 75% of the eggs were frozen and cracked, so the Purrkids get scambled egg treats shortly.

Next week we get to share them with the Fab Feathered Three !

Life is good, and better with Icelandic Chickens, and quieter then with some others !
