I told Mary she was askin' for it - paybacks and all.
I have lots of friends helping me figure out how to repay the kindness, too.

It was funny..... When I opened the box, there, laying on top of the packing peanuts, was a piece of paper. The paper is log to record on and instructions of how to incubate Emu eggs. I laughed and said, "Very funny, Mary." I thought that part was a joke, and did not expect to see the emu eggs! I was so surprised when I opened up the box with the eggs!

I told her I hope your husband doesn't have a heart attack..............kinda hard to hide emu's. Too bad I didn't get to see the look of shock on your face when you saw those purdy blue eggs!

My kids LOVE going to Mary's house to see the emu's and goats.

DON'T LET MARY READ THIS !!!!!!!!!

Kathy if you live near a zoo, you could send Mary 'zoo doo 'as a thank you gift. I'm pretty sure alot of zoo's give it away free. Maybe a little contribution from an elephant? It's a gift that keeps on giving or is it stinking?. Whatever.

 Wow Kathy, I am jealous! Congrats!
You are wonderful, Mary! :thumbsup Its one of the reason I like this thread the best. :)

I am not sure, but I think that the pullet laid her first egg today, for I found the egg on the ground with a bit of blood on it. :ya So, all 3 pullets are laying! Woot!

Good for gardens, isn't it? Ya, gardens!

The suspense was killing us yesterday, waiting for those eggs to arrive!

Got your bator all dialed in? (not like it was off anyway)
It just happens to be all warmed up. I put some eggs (that Cyn sent me) in Jan 11. Then, of course, I added a few of my own, so it wasn't "so empty." I have the whole bottom shelf empty. Tonight, the emu eggs will go in.
