Icelandic Chickens

Jake welcome back to Michigan! I hope you did not bring anymore winter with you as it has been rather mild here this year. So sorry to hear that you lost Blau

Mary, that looks great!

I have 14 Icelandics hatched and 2 Delawares so far

Jake - I'm so sorry about Blau. Glad you made it to MI safe and sound though. So you are still planning on moving to Alaska?

Mary - the broody area looks fantastic. I'm sure since you made it so nice, you'll have LOTS of occupants.

Welcome back to MI, Jake! Maybe you can come and visit Laura and me. :D Sorry about Blau.

Mary- I like the broody area! I will be doing something similar in my henhouse. :D

I looked at the tracking number and it said that the rooster got delivered! But wish the buyer would email me on how he is. :/

Laura- Should I lockdown the Icelandic eggs earlier? :gig

Daron, mine started hatching less than 24 hours after I locked them down. I locked down on day 18. I thought they would at least wait till day 20.

It would be great to meet Jake in person.

Nice hatches everyone! Love the new clear top on the Genesis! Sorry about Blau Jake. How sad. That was some crazy cold weather! Are you still deciding whether to move to Alaska or not? Cold weather freaks me out so it wouldn't be a hard decision for me.

Anyway, I am busy, busy, busy these days with finishing the blog move to Wordpress and building the screen room and selling chicks and eggs.

Joy, Are you having any luck finding Dorkings for the Easter hatch?

Maybe, I contacted some one on the dorking clubs site, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I am thinking about looking into a breeder in Colorado , but their eggs are kind of pricey! Do you know of anyone? I would really like to get another line of red.
