Mary your pigs are very smart, they can learn very quickly that a behavior has unpleasant results, I would suggest a small hand shocker, along with a strong 'NO' when he starts to do it. Check your feed stores, its a simple solution, and with pigs a quick one.

The pic of your barnyard, except for the emus kind of has an Ozark hill farm touch to it, makes me a bit homesick. I cant quite picture that one in Alaska.
