Kathy - from what I hear, turkeys are far more personable than chickens. They bond with people.

Kelly several of the most personable people I know are turkeys, personable and all that but still turkeys.

Re real turkeys, I have had several types, all have been very good with people, the 'wildest' the Wishard were just as tame at feeding time as the others. I hace also had Blacks, Bronze Bourbons, and Eastern Wild, and had to shoo them out of the way at feeding time, the Eastern Wild and Wishard roosted in trees around and ranged more then the others was the main difference I noticed, as soon as the poults came in for feeding they also settled right in.

Question, these Icelandics what I call wheatens with a blue wash on them , what are they called besides blue washed wheatens??
