When I did my nightly turkey welfare check I found that their bad behavior has spread to my three Icelandic babies. Here they all are up on the support over the door. My little roo is coloring in nicely. The Miss Polaris look-a-like is a moose!







We moved Lukka and the babies out of the broody area again last night and they did ok in the yard today. I just worry they will cross through the fence into emu territory again.




One of my four week old Cream Legbars went broody when I put newly hatched chicks in the brooder with her. She has adopted on of the little white babies. She sleeps with it under her wing and it stays right beside her all day. Cream Legbar girls are just the sweetest things.
