Hello, I hope you can help determine what is wrong with my hen. She is standing up, barely, with her wings drooping, shaking her head a lot, and eyes are closed. Any ideas what could be wrong with her? Thank you

Check her over for lice/ mites, look inside her ears for infection/pus.
Make sure her crop is emptying overnight.

When was her last egg?

Work on keeping her hydrated. If possible, take a sample of her poop to your vet for testing to see if worms are part of the issue.

Hey, thank you for your quick response. Her last egg was not yesterday but the day before. Today though she is acting normally. I wonder if she was just too hot??

Could have been hot or she may have been having trouble laying her egg which can make them feel bad. If she acts like that again I'd work on hydration, electrolytes can be given for a few hours and I would also give her Extra Calcium.
You can find Calcium Citrate with D3 in the vitamin aisle of stores like Walmart, CVS, etc. Give 1 tablet daily, just pull down on her wattles, pop the tablet into the beak and let her swallow.
