I live in the Rigby area and am new to chickens. A firend at work had too many chicks and gave me a few. My boys have rabbits, but we aer going to try chickens. Has anyone heard of a "Fire Rooster" as a breed?

I am in Southwest Boise and am currently learning the ropes with my first batch of chickens.

Do any of you Idahoans want a Rhode Island Red rooster? I have one that is about 7 weeks old. My zoning laws forbid a rooster, he was supposed to be a pullet, according to the store. He's very healthy, and good at protecting his sister pullets. I'm in the Boise area. I am willing to trade or sell for a reasonable price. Thanks!

Hi,

I already posted I am from Parma but I have a couple of roosters I need to find homes for. So I though maybe some one here would be interested.
One is a gold laced Wyandotte and one is a white something. LOL I am not sure what it is but I am thinking leghorn. They are about 9 weeks old and some of them are starting to crow. I haven't been there when these two have but I have two others that are crowing. I have nothing to go with these two roosters so and I don't need 4 roosters.

Just email me at mbleily at gmail.com.

I am from Idaho also. I was born in Pullman, WA but lived in Moscow. We had a cabin in Cour D Alene. I lived in Blackfoot, and currently reside in Idaho Falls. I am thrilled to see that others are so close. How awesome!

I have 2 chicks, a GSL and BSL.
