We have six older hens.. buff orpintons (sp?) and barred rocks. New this spring are three three Old English bantams. Man they are tiny.
and two americanas from the neighbor and two dark red "unknowns" again from the neighbor. He got carried away at the feed store
and ended up with 20 chickens.

Yep. I keep thinking there ought to be a WashIdaMont group here for us northerners, it's only a little over an hour drive from the WA border to the MT border across the state up here. Do it all winter to snowboard at Lookout Pass![]()
We live in Emmett and have an small existing flock of 5 hens and a rooster, and have added 10 chicks born in April to the flock... unfortunately, some are now crowing... soo... we will definitely have a diverse group.
