Sorry to hear about your loss. We had aussies that did not bother the chickens once they became adults. They figured out the chickens were part of the family and ignored them. Hopefully yours will do the same!
Thank you. So sad seeing that little lady like she was. Just feel bad being as it's our job to protect them and we really failed at that. 1st time is an accident though so as long as it doesn't happen again.
I hope he grows up to be great with them.
How did you like having aussies? This is our first herding breed and aren't too sure what to expect except what we've read! We adopted him from the shelter so he is mixed with something (he has a long curled tail) so we aren't sure what but he has the fur and colors of an aussie.
