Yeah....the Sultans I got from them turned out to be VERY nice birds. I don't show my birds...but I'd like birds that COULD be shown (close to the breed standard).
Also, I only have ONE coop (split in two). So really, I only have room for TWO breeds (as it is right now) and if I want purebreds. However, I've got 8 different ones. Two of which are bantam breeds. I'm hoping that I can get a few coops (little ones) built NEXT summer...so I can separate everyone out that way and have 1 roo with 3 or 4 hens that way....
So I have:
Light Brahmas
GL Cochins (standards)
Buff Orpingtons (which I'll be putting in with my ducks)
In the 'bator:
4 Sultan bantams
7 Porcelain d'Uccles
13 Salmon Faverolles
15 Spitzhaubens
3 Cream Brabanters
So I'm leaning towards either Sumatras or brahmas. I had wanted some bantam sumatras, but all of their banty eggs are sold out until 2009.
And I had to cull (sell) most of my McMurray brahmas because they are had too much black in places they were not supposed to.
SOOO....???
LOL Decisions, decisions....
