I was looking back on the email and they sent the email 3 times!

Will they call or email me when the chicks get here??

I always get multiple e-mails. One with my name and address in it, and then a few minutes later I get 2 or 3 similar ones. I wonder if they do it to catch your attention - in case you forgot about it!

They will arrive at your post office most likely tomorrow (at least mine will). The post office will call you.

Oh ok well thanks i hope me and you get good batches of chicks! I am really hoping and praying that they will arrive safe and healthy but i feel like its a gamble, you don't really know if they are going to be dead and sickly or if they will be perfectly fine! Anyway hope for the best!

These guys will make it nearly 600 chicks that I've gotten through the mail, in about 11 different orders. Only once did I have a problem, and that was due to the post office, not the hatchery. I even picked up the first batch and we got 6 inches of snow later that day... no problems. Don't worry about it.

I have been checking their availability on several breeds an have wait listed on a couple. I was ready for a few more and it's a long way to Spring

I picked up mine about an hour ago. All arrived live and healthy. They sent plenty of extras, too. Normally for each 25 they send you 26.

Here's what I ordered and what I got:

Black Broilers - ordered 30, got 32
Americauna Pullets - ordered 25, got 25
Crested - ordered 45 got 52.

Very pleased! I wonder if they sent me 32 meat birds instead of 31 (the normal 30+1 extra) because they ran out of the Americauna's and didn't have an extra to send?
And I suspect with the polish, when they packed it they probably forgot and just put in 50, as most people would probably order 50, not 45. I'll have to remember that!

They have been shipping for two days and i still haven't got them! Its driving me crazy!!!

I called the post office and they havent got any chicks yet! UGH!
I hope they are warm enough its 60 here in august!!! I can't take it they said they shipped it tuesday so it should be here today! AHHH I am sick to my stomach thinking if they are not here sooner death may become them

They will be fine. It was 55 out this morning. All 109 birds I got were just fine. Sometimes the shipping takes 3 days. Nothing to worry about.

I ordered from Ideal also and Mine will be shipping August 13th. Im anxious since I have not ever ordered from a hatchery before. You'll have to keep us posted I ordered Salmon Faverolles and white leghorns. I also ordered several breeds from McMurray Hatchery to ship the same week.
