IDEAL Hatchery: When did you get your chicks?

Some of the yellow chicks are Buff Orpingtons and some are easter eggers I think cause they have blue legs. I didn't get any extras either but the little guy you see with the blue marks on his head thats a rooster I purchased its a White LegHorn.

And I am not using heat here cause well I am in Texas and my house is pretty warm from the day it was 95 degrees today but tonight I have the heat lamp on them its 78 degrees in here but it only just cooled down. During the day I won't be using any form of heat at all. With it being 86 degrees in my house plus them together on hay their body heat will rise pretty quick.

I finally got some good pictures of my new Chickies. I was raised in the country with chickens, but this is the first time to raise them myself.
Maybe someone can help me identify my Chickies.

The yellowish one with two black stripes and the brownish one with the speckled face and brown stripe on the back look like my Easter eggers (see my previous post for pics on this thread)

Stormy did you say something about leg color? I think my EE have the same color legs (greyish yellow) as my production reds.

LilChickyCoop did you order surprise chicks?

I'll post better pics of mine tomorrow, they're sleeping now =)

My chicks shipped on 4/25 and arrived on 4/27. I got 15 total - 13 orloffs and 2 cuckoo marans. One of the orloffs did not survive the trip, one died randomly a week later, and one developed a severely crossed beak and needed to be culled. The others are doing really great, I am very happy with them! They are now about 4.5 weeks old.
I didn't receive any packing peanuts, I am really tempted to order more chicks...I am trying to resist but can't resist browsing their website!!

I wish someone would chime in I have the same exact chicks with the specks and lines on the face and would like to know what they are.
Here are pics of my EEs. First pic is one with the greyish legs

Here's one with bluish legs

And here's one with greenish legs

This is another EE with legs the same color as my production reds.

Is there normally this much variation within a single breed? will they all grow up to look completely different? I wonder if leg color has anything to do with egg color, I'd be really excited if I have a blue and olive green layer!
