Ok, so I'm gonna be building this duck pond, but I don't know how big it has to be. I have 2 adult Peking's and 6 mallard babies that will be leaving when they grow up. I also don't know what kind of of filter to get. And how deep it has to be. Soo many questions. Thanks in advance!

There aren't many rules set in stone for duck ponds exactly; you can be flexible. It just has to be easy to clean and large enough for them to have a good bath in. It only needs to be a few feet deep and several feet wide, but the bigger it is, the more they will like it and the less often you will have to clean it.

Something like this? This is what I want for my flock someday.

Here's one on the filtering:

Some of those threads are really old, but you might still find some ideas.

This is my current pool. It should be enough for two ducks, but you might still want a bigger one. (Unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures or even anything of them bathing, just this of them eating tadpoles out of it.)

Here's ours. It is 22' in diameter and 4' at the center depth which is way bigger than we originally planned but my husband had too much fun with the tractor. It has a "zero entry" which the ducks enjoy, an "observation deck" for us to enjoy and he is working on a waterfall. We have snails in it to help with algae and filter it thru media beds to keep the poop levels down. Hubs also installed a uv light that water passes thru which keeps the algae at bay very well.
