Identify please

What kind of goose is this? Gender? I am guessing it is a Lucy Goosy, but wanted to know for sure. I want to start looking for a mate for it.

Toulouse gander, I think.

I was thinking it was female. The thing disappeared for about 2 weeks like as it was sitting on a stash of eggs and then gave up, but I haven't seen any eggs with my own eyes and that was back in January, so it may have been too soon for a goose to lay eggs anyhow.

With the lighting it's hard to tell but if the coloring is a light brown/apricot color then I'd say an American Buff gander.

Definitely a Toulouse.I would say male just going from the tight undercarriage.How old?

You should be seeing eggs by now.How deep is his voice?.My females has a very deep voice they also like to mumble to themselves.Toulouse ganders have a higher pitched voice than females.

Agree toulouse. If I had to bet gender, I'd go with female based on these pictures.

Guess I'll just watch for eggs for a while and see if I can figure it out. I've never had geese so could say if the voice is deeper or not. It is definitely not mean, though.

My Toulouse were very nice. Male and female.

I cannot tell if it is male or female though.
