That looks like an ameraucana to me, you can definitely tell if it is or not by egg color.

That's an Easter Egger. 99% of hatchery Ameraucanas are actually Easter Eggers. That why the call them Americaunas "note the spelling".

Is there a REAL difference between the two? I just thought EE’s were ameraucana hybrids.

EE’s are just mutts, they area cross between a blue egg layer and a brown egg layer, they do not have any specific traits, ameraucanas only come in a handful of colors, and they are way more Rare and 10x more expensive

You could think of Easter Eggers as the poor persons ameraucana, personally I LOVE my EE’s, I like picking out ee’s At the store and waiting to see what color they turn out to be!

Yup, but normally they sell them as americanas, or americaunas.
