Welcome back to BYC! :frow
Thank you! It's good to be back. I feel like three kinds of a fool for having been using this site as a reference off and on for a few years, but not realizing I was a member. It's like talking with a new online friend and suddenly realizing that you graduated from high school with whomever they are.
Sigh. I remember the good old days when I had a working brain. ;)

Welcome back to active posting on BYC! :frow Nice to meet you.
Sorry for you past losses. I hope things go better for you now.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
Yeah, I try to remind myself that Life is a cycle and everyone returns to where they came; and all the other stuff people tell you or you say to yourself after something like that.
It's not like I don't eat chicken, either. so there's that.
I'm hoping to have solved the more obvious holes in my protection for them, and will continue to plug any spots (or circumstances depending on what's going on), and see how well I can take care of these feathered squeakers.

Welcome back to the BYC flock, best of luck!
Thank you very much for the kind welcome.
Thank you very much for the kind wishes, too! Boy, am I hoping for good results! But then, what I consider good results are pretty darn lax compared to some others. As long as the birds do chicken or goose-ish things, I'll be happy.

Hello,:frow and a warm welcome back to Backyard Chickens It's great to have you here with us and I hope you'll enjoy it here as much as we all do! I'm so sorry to hear about your losses!
Thank you very much for your kind words.
It's amazing to me that I signed up for this site, then Life did what it does, and I lost this information for a time. I've been using this site as a reference for years, now, without realizing I had an account.
Life can be funny and interesting. At least, in this case, I get a do-over!

Howdy :frow and Welcone to Backyard Chickens.

Happy :ya to have you here with us. Enjoy your time at BYC!

Thanks for joining our community! :celebrate
Thank you very much for your kind words. I look forward to being able to share tips and tricks with so many people who share at least one of my interests.
I'm impressed at the listing of birds you care for. Natives and pheasants is what I seem to have seen when I canned. You must have so much fun with all of those beautiful birds in your immediate area!
