If the ee's are all pullets..... And I have a fertilized egg......

Ok...I found the post. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=259311&p=1 I think the one I am seeing in the 3rd pic on this thread, is the same one that is labeled as #3 on the other post. Is that right? If so...that might be the culprit.

These birds are under a year old, right? I had a roo that I was convinced was a hen, because he didn't have saddle or hackle feathers. He was just a late bloomer. The reason I am saying this is because the blue feathers on the neck seem like they are curving from the back of the neck around to the front. None of the other EE's are like that and it looks just like mine did.

Also, someone questioned that one on the other thread. They were shot down because of no saddle feathers, but it seems that there is a lot of fluff back there, and they are just slow coming in.

Anyway, that is my opinion. I think it's worth a second look.

That's my guess too. AFter the posts said hens, that's when I turned my suspicion to the roo-ey looking BO. Here are 2 more (albeit not great) pics of the EE with the "blue" I guess.

I'm also looking through some pics from 2 weeks ago that I took just for kicks & cropping them down if I can to just her/him.

Thank you! I think he's a beauty too (but then I love all of them, LOL). If I had a 'bator I'd hatch in a heart beat!

He's a beauty. I went through and found my old post... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=199673 it's the first few pics. I think the EE's are just harder to tell. You practically have to wait til they're crowing! LOL!

On yours, those neck feathers are curving around...definite male. He still has fluff at the base of his tail, so his saddle feathers aren't in yet.

He's beautiful.
