If you had to live off just the food in your house...

I would guess about 5 or 6 months we have a lot of canned goods.

A year would be pretty easy with no health issues but probably a bad case of food boardum. I may be ok definitely though between the stores, the land an the livestock.

I've always had a good stockpile of food, but for the last few months money has been extra tight. Honestly, right now we'd only last a few weeks at most.

Me too. I don't have much of a pantry stock these days either.​

We've been doing it since May with a few trips to the store for perishables......

about 12-18 months. we have 3 large freezers full of meat and other things freezable. then the root cellar that has almsot 200lbs of potatoes, 70 lbs of apples, carrots etc. lots of canned food. i have Five 5 gallon buckets full of flour and 5 full of sugar.

i was raised to be ready for any thing AND be ready to help friends and family in need..
