My son did this to our 6 week old chicks. I was painting the coop and noticed my son was quiet for some time and turned around only to find he had buried "Blue" up to his neck in my son's sand box. Blue was just looking around, not fazed a bit. I made him uncover the chick but she was just laying there--didn't even try to get up away from the sand box. She seemed to really enjoy it. We'll have to try it again. Thanks for the pics they were great!
