My troublemaker in guessing. Pale comb, red wattles.

Almost fully feathered. I. Can't. Wait.

I think 2 boys. One is Mr Obvious & the other is probably just slower to mature. If related to Jewel, I get some females with large red wattles..... but they have almost no comb. I see a little bit of height in the comb of 'troublemaker', so I think you'll see a bit of pink come in along the base of comb this week.

Here's my 'troublemaker'
From hatch this black chick has always been petite. Comb area looked like a thin hair part in head fluff. It's blue sibling looked like a giant, meaty male with a small wider comb area. As they grew, my orig guesses remained.

Here's the black chick 'girl'??? at 7 weeks. Comb is still small and pale but those wattles came in last week!!!! Where did they come from? Could 'she' have tricked me & is a male? Like the others in the past, I won't sell her because I think she may be male...... and then perhaps she'll be like the others and never grow a comb until she's ready to lay.

The blue sibling (one I was sure was a male) has no comb color and its wattles also look pale. :idunno

Yours looks like mine except the comb is a smidge smaller. Did yours hatch at the same time as mine or later? I thought mine were 7 weeks, but maybe they're 8. But mine seem not quite as feathered out as yours....

I just tore up my yard yesterday with a bobcat to remove a pile of dirt. The rain turned everything into just mud pools now. I was wanting to till today and start planting. Now I have to wet for the ground to dry.
More rain in the middle of the week. Hopefully you can get the garden worked

Well, i looked back and found they were hatched on March 16. So they are 6 weeks on Monday.
Mine hatched March 7th, so they're a bit older. They're also outside which may make them feather out faster. Plenty of broody hens in my bantam coop, so they had options of where to snuggle at night. They are technically Sesame's chicks but being a serama, they would all pile into the nest with the silkie and her chicks.

There's also an 11 week old orp pullet in there. A 3 month old orp is pretty big. I haven't decided if we're going to keep her - especially now that the county fair has been cancelled.
