Illinois...

There's just three in my office, so probably not unless someone gets sick. Even so, I'm preparing to be ready to work from home. I work in imports, ironically China has mostly recovered in our sector and is shipping like mad. My suppliers are very concerned for us. I'm thinking of pulling back from social events, like dog obedience. I think the experts are right that we need to try to flatten the curve. That means giving up gathering for a short while.

NW corner Mt. Carroll, ill. New to raising chickens, guineas and turkeys. The chicks keets and poults start arriving in two weeks. I am jumping into the deep end with Buff Orpington, Black Australorp, Buff-light-Dark Brahmas. Bourbon Red. Blue Slate. BBW and BBB turkeys.
Welcome to the IL thread
@jerryse is in that corner of the state.

Anybody's work talking about closures or working remotely due to coronavirus?
Well I heard the Chicago St Patrick's Day festivities will be postponed.

Since I'm a mom, if anyone gets sick, I'll have more work to do. Thankfully kids seem to fight off new types of viruses better. (To their immune systems every virus is new)

We have a wedding to attend this weekend. I'm a bridesmaid, so I'll be there. Hopefully anyone feeling sick will stay home. (That's what makes me nervous. So many people go to work/school when ill.)

What is it about bad news that makes me want to garden? What's everybody planting this year? I'm starting my seeds now.:)
Lol. We just issued the work from mandate today (starting Monday). My first thought was no travel time means more time in my day to finish getting the garden in order. :lau
Then came there concerns of virus being such a growing threat... At least I tend to be alone in the garden, or just with DW and the DS.

Keets... that sounds fun, but loud! The guineas at Brookfield Zoo have screamed at me before, and it's not quiet.
