Finally have a dog cage. Now to introduce my brahma chicks for a few days then to separate my rooster so old hen can go back. Hopefully he leaves her alone after.

I also seen on Dr. Pol that pouring peroxide down a dog's throat will get them to regurgitate safely.

Yep. We've done that one too. Believe it or not but we had a big dog that was perpetually getting himself into trouble. Vet ph# was on our speed dial. LOL The dog actually lived 11 years. We never thought he'd live to 2.

@BReeder! Was going to try sharkos. 25 minutes thumbing through menu to call and find they reduced hours and are closed. Thank goodness fire water was open.

Sunglasses for Chickens
Invented in 1937 to control cannibalism among chickens. Apparently chickens have a natural instinct to peck each other, but the sight of blood intensifies this instinct. So much so that if one chicken has blood on its feathers, all the others in the flock will peck it to death. This was a real problem for farmers until these rose-colored chicken sunglasses came along, which made it hard for the chickens to see the sight of blood. Nowadays, farmers must have other solutions to the problem of chicken cannibalism, because these glasses are no longer manufactured and are considered collector's items. Tried this, it didn't work! That warranted the vet office visit. The amount of chocolate that he ate was just in the danger zone.
