Seems everything tastes LIKE CHICKEN:drool ,,,, or
everything LIKES CHICKEN. :thumbsup
Probably coyotes' taste-buds crave the contents of our coops.:gig

I like to post some things funny, and other things as informative.
This one is 90% informative.:old
I posted on a different thread that, to increase quickly the protein percentage your chickens may need, just add some dog food, or cat food into their diet. When chicken are molting, and need extra protein for feather growth,,, or any other reason.
There was a response that made me feel like I was gettin a whippin behind the shed. Claim was that dog and cat food contained too much salt. Also too much fat. Expert had a belt in hand.:gig
I agree dog food does contain some fat, but am not sure a small quantity of it would harm my chickens anyways.
I have been using the same Avatar since day one here on BYC. It shows my cats sharing food with my chickens. They do this to this day. When I let them free-range into back yard, they automatically stop by the cat food:drool:drool:drool dishes FIRST.
Here is the Analysis Chart, Does not show salt.:idunno

I don't have a chart from my cat food bag, but it is what my cats call for by name.

And wanted to add.... my chickens all live LOOOOONG lives, unless lost to predator:hit
My longest living chicken lived 13 years. A Silver Sebright. Same as Faradays' Trouble:love
Has been stealing the cats' food all her life, and the the contents did not harm her.:thumbsup
Wow what do you think they would do to me if I told them my chickens get this
