Illinois...

Someone recently asked about speckled sussex.
When they say cornish i wonder if they mean CX, Or white Cornish?
I bet it's CX since it's at the bottom. They used to list the meat birds separate at the bottom and had rangers last year

Does anyone here live near the northwest suburbs of Illinois? I really need a pal to talk chickens with, and my husband doesn't really engage.
Talking chickens is all we've done for a year that I know of and it goes back further. Most of us active on this thread are suburbs.

Jump right in and join. :highfive: We keep busy with things SERIOUS, and things LESS SERIOUS here.

Any of you go to Tri County Stockdale? They also sell chicks in the Spring. They sell all sorts of animal feed too. It's fairly close to me, but I don't go as often as I used to. Also, their website is not the best and doesn't show anything about chicks this year. They might have a social media page or there though. I haven't checked ever.

I went there once and got organic layer... full of moths.... they probably weren't selling much.
