My CX hatch on Monday. I was thinking about it but will likely have my hands full. Maybe a month or 2.
Was just thinking if @SnootyHen wanted to increase her experience and raise some meat burds I would process them for her.

Mine are just pet quality. They are actually my daughters. Insane how broody they are. All three of my hens have set twice so far. One about to for a third time.

Yes. I have one that currently has turkey, quail, Orpingtons, and serama chicks. A very happy, yet a bit confused little Serama Mama.

Is Millie has to spend another day in broody jail, I may take you up on that! She's making us all crazy!! I leave for vacation on Tuesday and my house sitter is probably not cut out for broody duty. Ugh!!!!! She wants a farm so I guess we'll see how well she can handle this part of it.

I didn't do anything for my broody. She knew what to do and did everything herself. Just make sure she can get food and water when she chooses and leave her alone.

My son's hen Poof Poof has never even thought about it, but here she is sitting on imaginary eggs. It's been about a week, so if she stays, she'll get a few of the eggs from the incubator.
