Well, it's Christmas morning... a but of a mess here. I've been up since 1am. DD was sleeping with DW in our bed because DD had a cough last night. Then DS woke up not feeling well which is what roused me at 1am out of my recliner in the living room. Soon after, he was vomitting. 3 boughts of vomiting last night within an hour or so. No fever. He is congested though and that's what I believe woke him up and the post nasal drip is likely what messed up his stomach. Now he's sleeping fine for the past 4 hours roughly. DW and DD are also sleeping fine. I'm just sitting here tired and exhausted. However, my inner child is super excited that it's Christmas. I don't got much these days, but love seeing the family happy when they open their gifts.
I'm debating on breakfast... I was going to fix biscuits and gravy but DS asked for pancakes, and now that his stomach was messed up I'm not sure what to do. I think I'll wait until after everybody's up and gauge the situation then. I'm hoping for a fun, happy and healthy Christmas. We shall see...
Sorry to hear that, prayers for swift recoveryTurns out we have Covid.
We generally are safe. DW and I are vaccinated, we where masks and we don't go into crowds much. However, DW and I attended an ugly sweater party. It was not a huge party, but found out a few days later somebody at the party tested positive afterward. I went and took a test to be safe since I was having a cold it seemed.
The worst didn't hit until the yesterday. DS couldn't hold anything down yesterday. After a few courses of pepto, he's eating and drinking much better today. DD speed a fever. Morin and Tylenol regimen keeping that under control now. I couldn't stay awake for anything and that's still the case. I get up on the morning and then pass out again until 4pm both yesterday and today. DW is also suffering from fatigue, although she's somehow managing to have more energy than me. Sinus headache began last night for me and I think DD was having the same as she woke up 2 or 3 times crying with no apparent reason. Benadryl is now part of the regimen to dry out mucus. Our kitchen counter looks like a small pharmacy. Also, lots of pedialite drink and popsicles, honey, some coffee for caffiene when I can and whatever food we can manage to prepare to keep everybody fed.
Good news is today is better than yesterday and we are moving in the right direction.
I do not have a pulse oximeter. I should order one from Walgreens and pick it up curbside. Breathing problems are currently not an issue though for any of us fortunately. The worst of the mucus build up and post nasal drip was the other night. The fear of mucus or fluid building up in lungs seems to be a minimum now. So not a bad idea to be safe though and get the meter.Sorry to hear that, prayers for swift recovery
Do you have an O2 sensor...thingy that goes on your finger?

Hopefully it will melt. Good that he's earning$Snowing here too. Not my thing but our son is loving it. Today he went out and made a snowman with the little kid next door. Then he shoveled a couple driveways & got paid $ from the neighbors. Guess whose driveway & sidewalk still has snow. ...... Yes, ours!
