i have a mille flora rooster he is not acting right went you put you ear to his chest you can hear a gergle sound as he breathes. does anybody have any ideal what it might be . He is about 5 months old also i have not heard him crow in 2 days now. one more thing his comb seems to be darker and not as bright red as normal

It sounds like he could have a respiratory infection which can be hard to diagnose exactly. You can do a search on this site to get ideas about treatment - it seems like there are many diffierent approaches. You should probably sequester him away from the flock to help prevent the others from getting sick. I hope he improves.

I have moved him to a brooder box so that i can provide him some heat. and have set him up with some vitamin water and food.
