i'm afraid my eggs won't hatch, help me calm down a bit :D

Hi :) i didn't do this because the humidity in the bator is actually lower than the humidity outside (60%vs75%) but thanks for the advice anyway, i'm sure it'll be useful in the future. Right now i have 1 hatched quail and another one is unzipping, even if i'm not too sure what he is doing at the moment (read my last messages). :)

I see, Ive never hatched quail, only chickens. Good luck my friend!

i'll be trying, hopefully i don't make the situation worse for him/her :( i'll let you know how it goes.
After he/she hatches then put them back into the bator for the night and then tomorrow morning put them into the brooder. This is so you can get some sleep. Also try not to stay up very late. I know how stressful and exciting this is for you so good luck!

success! he's out of the egg and alive, and seemed to be completely developed! :) he's chirping in the incubator as he starts moving around :D thank you all for the help!

alrighty, just came back from school, i noticed the first quail that hatched is kind of bullying the newborn one, the newborn one doesnt seem to care much, and it only happens if he gets too close to the older one, what should i do?

Since you are home I would keep an eye on them for now. The bullying should stop soon. They will figure out they are best friends soon.

yeah they already kind of settled down, this morning when i put the newborn in the brooder for the first time the other one was definitely a lot more aggressive, even if the other wasnt getting near him, now it seems to be happening only if he tries to steal food or water from him, also, get ready for some cute quail chicks pics later today :D
