Its been another 3 weeks and I'm posting again for more opinions. Some of you may remember this chicken I bought as a Cochin pullet. Its been about 50/50 whether its a cockerel, and most of yall do not think its Cochin. Well, I think its a Langshan, and I think its a pullet. Its anywhere from16-20 weeks old now. I know youre going to look at the colors and tail and go automatically to cockerel, buttttt....I don't see anything pointy, and Langshan girls have this sheen. Legs aren't overly big and there is no crowing. So tell me what you think on breed and sex at this age.

@sourland @drumstick diva Wanna tell me I'm crazy for believing this is a pullet? LOL

Not crazy. Nothing about this bird is 100 % definitive. Body type and stance say masculine, but it could be a masculine pullet or late developing cockerel. I tend to think cockerel, but am nowhere near being positive on this.

So I'm not the only one, good. It bothers me every day, that I cant know for sure, Cockeral or pullet...Langshan or poorly bred cochin or some crazy mix. That tail and the feathers on it would usually have me screaming cockerel, but watching it, it has me almost convinced its a pullet. Dang thing better crow or lay an egg soon. :he
