I so had this problem with an australorp mix last spring! This year my chicks had siblings to compare one another to, so it made things easier! I never did find out until she started laying and the rooster was treating her like a hen. My pullet looks exactly like yours this year! Such a mystery!

We are back. Here we are at 26 weeks old, no crow, no egg, no mating...still! I went away for a week and when I visited with the chickies today, I am now leaning toward a cockerel! Who takes 26 weeks to figure out the dang sex of a chicken! Why doesn't it crow? Or try to mate? Any of you still have any hopes of this being a pullet?
