Hopefully NONE!!! LOL, I'm 100% positive none of the others are cockerals.
Oh!! Well, in my experience, males without a teacher have taken longer to crow. It eventually comes naturally, but slower.
I'm really anxious to see this one lay an egg!

The angle of the tail is 90 degrees or less from the spine so the tail sticks straight up or at an angle over the back. Normal for a Japanese bantam but not for a Cochin. What is squirell tail?
It's definitely a Langshan or Langshan cross and I suspect it's a cockerel because of the comb and tail. But not 100% sure. Close up pictures of the hackle and saddle feathers could help.Another week and some more photos!! It is between 19=21 weeks old now. No crowing and no egg yet. Doesn't act like a little cockerel at all. And I'm still not sure what it is. I'm going to update this thread until I get a crow or an egg! Any thoughts this week? Comb and wattles have reddened up and plumped up this past week!

I looked very very closely and nothing is pointy. This thing is confusing as heck!!It's definitely a Langshan or Langshan cross and I suspect it's a cockerel because of the comb and tail. But not 100% sure. Close up pictures of the hackle and saddle feathers could help.
This is definitely a hen. I can tell by the head, but also that if it was a rooster then it would have a longer tail most likely. I.t most likely over a year old because of how long the feathers on its feet are, but also the feathers look like they are in good shape and it has a very healthy appearance so im guessing it is on the younger side at 2-5 years old. I do not know the breed however I am certain it is not a cochin at best it is only partially. Its been another 3 weeks and I'm posting again for more opinions. Some of you may remember this chicken I bought as a Cochin pullet. Its been about 50/50 whether its a cockerel, and most of yall do not think its Cochin. Well, I think its a Langshan, and I think its a pullet. Its anywhere from16-20 weeks old now. I know youre going to look at the colors and tail and go automatically to cockerel, buttttt....I don't see anything pointy, and Langshan girls have this sheen. Legs aren't overly big and there is no crowing. So tell me what you think on breed and sex at this age.
