I'm Curious about the Size of your Coops

I now have 16 chickens and 5 guineas.
We tore down 3 ancient garages/outbuildings and reused all the lumber and roofing to build our present coop, 11 X 14.5, (just under building permit size in our location) the only new lumber was the roof joists.
It has a 6X6 roost section with cement floor.View attachment 1585016 View attachment 1585022
That's so cool. I love the multi-color on the outside, very 70's. It's a really great size too. You did a really good job.

I have to brag... Last year FreshEggsDaily shared my coop, on her Facebook page :):)
The only thing I had to buy, was the gallon of paint and the curtains. The accessories were already on my farm. Someone gave me the coop. It isn’t this clean anymore though haha My chickens are free range and run around the farm.
Holy wow, :eek:That sure is/was pretty. Even dirty it still would be gorgeous. What's the dimensions roughly? Looks pretty big.

Mine is 4X4, the cubes for the run are 4X4 each. I only have 3 chickens so its a good size for them. They never stay in the run, they free range in the yard. Now that its getting dark early however, they get locked in the run for about 2 hours in the afternoon until I get home and lock the coop pop door.

That's a cute little set up. Can you walk in the run? I see where you left your hammer in case you are looking for it. :)

Are those lights in front?
