I'm gonna be RICH!

We tried to donate 7 dozen to local charitable organizations. none of them would take them. In the end I sold them so it wasn't an issue, but I'd like to be able to donate my eggs if I do end up with a surplus. Who did you donate to?

I'm in Johnston at Salisbury Farm (follow the link under my avatar)

Nice to see other Rhode Islanders on here.

I see. I've been by there a few times. I'm just a couple exits up on 295. Not far from Bryant Unv.
This person helped me. The Bank thats across from Langs on Niantic couldn't take the eggs. They couldn't take the eggs because they are Fed funded and deal in bulk. But he has contacts of local food pantries that they supply. He was very helpfull and gave me the contact that runs Agape pantry in Wonsocket. They also do meals three times a week.

Do you get your egg cartons local? I found an online site where I don't have to buy 100 at a time.

Who buys this poop?

Is the poop in question sold often or was this a one time poop purchase?

Is this pure poop or diluted with sand and wood shavings or hay type of poop?

How many chickens does it take to fill a five gallon pale of poop?

I have had them in the coop for a couple of wseeks now and they really aren't that poop productive. But I only have 12.

Are the chickens bucket trained?

One year into my egg selling empire and here is the final tally:

eggs collected 4938
dozens sold 321
dozens eaten 71
gifted 174 eggs
damaged eggs 59
feed used 1096 quarts
Total costs 1500.00
Total income: 960.00
Balance: -540.00

hmmm, might take me another year to get up to "rich" status doing this.
