i dnt really have much faith but i'll try praying.. (i only try for select people mind you)
hopefully he comes home
if he doesnt, well... dang nabbit. i'll cry D:

Aw, thanks.
And don't cry, I've done enough of that for him.
Of course no one could replace BBQ, but do you think someone who is required by law to sell a minimum of 6 chicks at a time, would ever sell me a single 6 week old chicken kinda as an exchange thing? I'd pay full for it. I just like having 7 or 8 chicks.

Six would be a constant reminder that I lost one.

why that gave me shivers? idk. but ik that feeling.

i can look out at the run and only see 16 chickens left

there used to be over 40....
and sometimes if you love something, let it go. and if the something loves you back, sometimes it'll come back
just dont give up on him

I really hope for you he's just out having an adventure

. Keep your spirits up. He might turn up!

Sorry your little guy is missing.

Have you done a careful check of the pen to see if there are any other weak spots where another one might escape ?

Have faith and know that everyone is pulling for you.

I sure hope that happens! (:
Haha, even if I don't find him, I imagine him chirping and running around in a field somewhere.
Rather than the more likely he's-in-the-stomach-of-a-snake thought I have been having.

you'd be suprised the little things critters can do to stay alive
and even if you never find him, or if you find him in a condition you would have rather not have found him in, just know hes not in any pain, and hes over in/on rainbow bridge

here it is...
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
