Aww no! Having ducks and chickens are good for self sufficienc! And I have a tip that might be useful, well I feed my chickens composted food. What I mean by that is I have a bucket next to my sink and every time I have scraps I put them in the bucket, and at the end of the day I feed my chickens/ducks whats in the bucket. Why don’t you try that?

I was about to get on to actually log off but I saw this... I was expecting a bunch of people say stuff like "oh don't go" But that is a good idea... also I'm thinking about slimming down my flock because my fam is not the biggest egg family. They mostly just kept them cuz' I love them. But I have another problem too. In about less that a week my school cp will be taken back to school (summer) and I don't have a phone or anything (grounded from personal pc for a LONG time) Any ideas?

Some breeds eat less than others maybe you could just get 2-3 of those

It is official... it was never about the feed. My dad was tired of them and always prioritizes the dogs. The moment we get rid of a dog, he gets a new one. I'm not even a dog person. Basically our 2 dogs chase the poor birds and instead of training them or separating them, he chooses get rid of the only pets who actually pull their own weight. My mom and I love them and want to keep them, but my dad already made the deal without discussing it with my mom. He says that he told my grandma to pick them up when she is ready... He says maybe we can start over when we get a new house (during taxes, either this Jan or next), but he always "forgets" and likes to say I'm lying, gas-lighting, and manipulating. So yeah... I never had a chance to keep them. He made the deal before he even told me or my mom... So yea

Worst part is that he said if I got my chores all nice than we could keep them, but he already made the deal and was not expecting me to clean the entire house... My ducks... they're gone...
