I got an EGG! Finally! One little stinkin egg! Its so cute and now I love my girls, see that was all I needed to love them again! LOL

Awesome -- it's beautiful!

I guess different breeds lay at different ages. My barred rocks began laying at 19 - 20 weeks, one EE at 21 weeks, 2 Rhode Island Reds at 22 weeks. I still have 4 girls not laying yet -- I think.

@Jacquie Button I am not sure about moving the button, it depends on the set up and other birds, but GOOD LUCK!!!!

Yes I hope, you know seasonal work means long hours. He says we live in a zoo an never knows what I might be up to next! They are all fun! I can't wait to start incubating the chicken eggs when they come. This will be my first real attempt at it. When I had chickens years ago I bought them as chicks and I kept them in my bath tub!

Ive done that too...Lol. my goose plays in the bathtub now..
Boy do I know zoo.....We have one too!
