Pics
My hub said they still have them (he bought me those about a month ago). He was just there and he said they restocked. They are in the men's department (cuz I'm really a rooster, lol). They are 20 dollars. And they are truly hideous, and warm! So get thee to Walmart now, and get your bad selves one before they sell out. And post your selfie, stat.

When he gave it to me I was like, "What the bloody f*ck am I gonna do with these??!!" And then my immediate thought was: Duh. Post a picture on BYC, cuz all my crazy chicken friends will want one! Heehee.

I have never been to a Walmart. I'm going to check online. :D

I just got my first egg yesterday and all my girls are 32 weeks....once I stopped looking for eggs, they surprised me, my daughter found it lolView attachment 1166872
:love Totally awesome image of your little girl and her egg. Make it large and frame it!?

Ok yall hang on to your socks. My trail camera outside my coop at my farm took my picture today. I was hoping to go hunting this afternoon, therefore the camo, but it was too warm. But i think the camo with the pink rubber boots could be a new fad. :lau :lau

Stylin' ... :thumbsup

These are my daughter's boots. My bantam cockerel HATES them. I assume it's b/c of the pattern.
Yesterday my leghorn cockerel, Odin, came at me while I was sitting on the yard swing. This was his first time out in a while and I had high hopes that he might finally realize that he isn't the boss. I grabbed him and put him away. On a good note, during his short moments of freedom, my girls didn't go after his tail. I'm going to give him until the spring & if he's still a jerk I'll have to decided what to do with him.

Love the boots too! I had one cockerel that HATED my RED feed scoop. Any other scoop was fine, but he would attack the red one. Not me, just the scoop! LOL

And on the jerk cockerel... I have one that gets a little nutty when I first let him out, its like he's trying to catch up for being locked up. Ya know, knock up every girl in the yard, beat up every other boy. But once he's out for a little while, he settles down. He's never been human aggressive at all, and some of those little boys need to learn to stand up for themselves anyway, so I try and let them work it out. But I do watch to make sure it doesn't go overboard.

He was good the first little bit, but I was sitting and he came up to me and just went at me. He did chase down a few girls and put the little cockerel in his place, but when he came at me while I was sitting was the end. I don't want to have him put down, but since I stopped letting him out it has been much nice to let the girls free range. I'm hoping once his teenage hormones calm down he'll stop being such a jerk to people.. but if not then one day he's going to 'disappear'.

That's a tough one. Because cockerels are way too abundant anyway. I have had both situations where I've put up with a mean one because he was an awesome flock protector. He just didn't like me!! But I had one mean one that was #2 in line, when he decided he wanted to be #1 he became a holy terror. He didn't live long after that.

Then I had one little bantam cochin cockerel that would charge me on occasion (maybe once a week). He was so tiny, it was actually amusing. But what changed him was I moved him in with some other bigger girls. They put him in his place real quick, and I never had another problem with him! lol He eventually won their hearts and was very good to them, but I eventually lost all of the girls, so I gave him away. I'd love to know how he did for that family.

It's the same w/ my bantam cockerel (my avatar).. he's just pathetic, but the person at the store warned us about 'little man' complex if either bantam turned out to be a boy. He's def got it! But my leghorn has some serious power in his wings and feet.. his spurs are 1" long already.. Previously he and I had no problems w/ each other as long as I didn't go after him. If I get too close he does raise his hackles, but that makes sense to me b/c he sees that as a threat which is stupid b/c it makes it soo hard to catch him.

Sorry guys..I'm so behind...Been sick but much better today.
Congratulations on all the first eggs! :celebrate
