Hi
My name is Erica and I'm new here.
In May my husband brought home 3 duck eggs and 3 chicken eggs from a co-worker. I didn't realize the chicken eggs were probably fertile and my hubby ate them ... I stole the duck eggs!
I grabbed a 2 gallon tank, a reptile heat lamp and hygrometer, a finger bowl of water and set the eggs. 2 were duds... 1 is a very loved 6 week old duckling.

Now I am incubating 3 chicken eggs and 2 more ducks! I'm very excited to learn and share.

Hi Erica! :frow Welcome to BYC! :welcome
Have lots of fun with your adorable little duckling! I pray the eggs hatch well for you!

I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you! All I can say is I lost my Mom in April ... And begged her to guide me and help me hatch this Duckie!
I'm sorry for your loss.

I ended up getting a real incubator and I've been hatching nonstop for the last year.

Thank you! Lost my baby brother (46) last Wednesday... But I have 1 chicken and 2 ducks in the Bator right now! It's been a tough year! But the little miracles help me get by! Thank you both again!!
Oh that's so sad! I pray things get better for you! If you need any encouragement we're here for you! :hugs
