I'm new to the chicken life

I bought 6 chicks this past January. 3 road island red 2 easter eggers and a yellow bird(no clue what kind it is as one of my children stuck her in the box) They have just recently started laying! We are only getting 2 to 3 eggs a day and suspect that all 6 are now laying as the eggs are different colored shells. It is exciting and hope to have a successful productive flock for many years!
