I'm new!

I am new to chickens. I got fourteen babies a few weeks ago. We have Rhode Island Reds and Ameraucana. These girls are going to be for egg laying and helping my garden (and so far they are also cuddle buddies).
I also have bees, grow veggies, compost, paint, homeschool...I have three teenagers, an older dog and two young cats - all rescues. I found this site last night while doing some last minute research about building my coop.
