Pretty sure this one is a cockerel, but im hoping im wrong because it would make my second RIR . I thought I'd asked the experts here. (S)he is about eight weeks old. These pictures were taken about twenty minutes ago. What do you think?

Looks like it, but where did you get the bird from? Some hatcheries sell Red Sex Links as RIR.

I got him from a small family hatchery in smith county TN.

When I asked that question a few years ago I was told I'd know when I heard him crow. LOL I have had another one come along since and again I could tell. They seem to act differently. Bossy from the beginning. In fact I named the second one Butthead because he was so mean to his brooder mates. LOL That's him in my picture.
