I'm scared my cat might die

Well, the surgery went well. He pulled a lot of string out of her belly and colon. I might get to pick her up tomorrow. I sure hope she pulls through. You know the funny part of all this is that the two things I said I would NEVER have in this world would be a cat or chickens. I love my cat. My kids love our cat and Roxy loves us. She was so happy to see me when I picked her up the other day after the first "round" of vet visits. I saw it in her eyes. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself, but I saw her eyes and I know she was glad to see me, even with her feeling so bad. Anyway, maybe she will come home tomorrow.

I'm so glad she's ok. I have always had lots of cats and have had to put down a few, its very hard, i'm glad oyu didn't have to do that. Just make sure the brat doens't get anymore string. LOL.

does your vet take care credit? If not, maybe ask if he might in the future.

You can go to http://carecredit.com/ to see if you qualify ... some dental offices and eye doctor offices for people take it as well, so can help both you and the pets.

(I work as a vet tech and we've taken it both places I've worked because of cases like this! I don't qualify - thank god I work for a vet!)

So glad it sounds like she might be alright. They are wondrous beings......When she feels better she'll be thanking you with those eyes

I'm glad your kitty is going to be okay! This is a rough time of year to have to make a decision whether or not to put them down, so I'm glad the surgery worked out.

I'm glad your kitty will be ok! Do you think your vet will let you make a monthly payments? Mine does, and I love them for it!

Cat's hide to die or maybe she is just hiding. My cat was 7 months old and was fine, I took her to the vet to get him neutered and three months later he was gone. I took her back to the vet because he was losing weight to the point were you can see his bones. the vet said that he was fine, I spent 350. on blood work and x rays. He died early december. Good luck.

Roxy is going to be okay. I talked to the vet on the phone this morning and she will probably come home tomorrow, Sunday, he wants her to eat some hard food first. Right now, she is on like ensure for cats, a nutritional supplement that is liquid and easily digestible. Anyway, maybe tomorrow.
