Okay, I just went through the video. With all due respect, he doesn't seem to be an expert on chicken feed chemistry (disclaimer: neither am I). I think this is a bust unless someone else can interpret the data.Did he post the actual results? Sorry, don't have time to follow the link.
He used 2 different test labs. This is a summary of the first lab’s results.
Fat: 3.4% (bag tag: > 2.5%)
Protein: 16.25% (bag tag: 16%)
Fiber 6.9% (tag: <8%)
Pesticides: some <0.1 ppm and some <0.5 ppm
Calcium: results delayed until next week
He was “expecting the protein results to be low but they weren’t.”
Lab results showed content but not reference range like you’d see on a medical test.
He seemed to have no idea whether these numbers are good or bad. I don’t know, either. Anyone else out there know what’s a normal range for these? See also blurry screen captures, attached. This is not all of his test results, but a good representative sample.
At end of video, “Could we do more testing? Sure. But I’m done investing my money on this deal. Next testing – amino acids and antibiotics – would cost another $600. If you guys want to continue testing, send $600 to my Venmo account [on the screen] and I’ll send out my feed for more testing... I don’t know if this feed is good or bad… I don’t know, maybe there is an antibiotic in there that’s causing chickens not to lay eggs… I do know that my chickens were not laying eggs, I switched food, and they are laying now. If you don’t like a certain product, don’t buy it.”
