I'm so freakin mad!!! *VENT*

YES, I feel much better....and the part about the listening is the point, I don't care that he mowed the grass, I cared that he didn't listen to the reason why I wanted him to NOT mow it. The whole point is the listening. Just once! He's gonna be wishing he had listened when all the chickens pull the grass up and his beautiful green crabgrass (yes, it's crabgrass) is nothing but dirt. But whatever. Thanks, everyone, for contributing! I know I'm crazy and that I drive him up a wall, but at least I KNOW when I'm driving him nuts. He has no clue!!!!!! Seriously, he doesn't......

This keeps me laughing. I see myself. I see my wife. I see all those folks that scalp their lawns and mow weeds instead of growing taller healthier grass. Poor chickens though, no new run.

I wish hubby mowed our grass and did those other things around the yard, but he can't - he has arthritis and has flare ups pretty bad. I do everything outside, but it's something I enjoy doing. I built my greenhouse and the temporary run until the new one is finished (I have a friend building it for me.)

But then again, if he comes outside to do a little something - he's in my territory - and I get mad at him, cause he didn't do it right (by my standards). Then I feel bad, I'm trying to understand - men and women are still different. I think the key is - step back and try to understand the opposite sex. Does that make any sense?

* Hey there, Lunachick! Glad you mentioned the part about standards-- That, to me, is the lynchpin of the whole male/female 'battleground'. My youngest and I were talking about the different standards expectations (re: him and his girlfriend) just a week or so ago.
