I'm so freakin mad!!! *VENT*

All right, even I gotta admit your wishes were clear.

I was gonna say something about clique-ish man bashing (and likely get myself cut out again,) but he deserves what he gets, this time.

Sorry to all the fellas, but it was a pretty lame.

I'd like to comment, dacjohns, that the male of the species (in general) seems to get the short end often enough. This in the face of the fact that there are men like you and me: keen of mind, alertly attentive and widely tolerant; men indeed wondrous to behold.
But I won't.

But, truly my friend, they can't all be like us. We are a cut above, don't you agree?

We should also not even hint that the standards for critique here at BYC may, at infrequent times, seem to double back on themselves. That's our mistake for thinking so - 'never happens, never gonna happen.

Instead I'll gleefully say that these are some of the finest people around, benevolent to a fault with only the common good at heart.

I stand educated.

I'm get a little sensitive sometimes. It's from getting in touch with my feminine side.

This is for elderroo who is getting scratched by a cat. It's also from years of government service and the many hours of training and education on equal opportunity and sexual harrassment. I also have worked in organizations that were predominately female and have been subjected indirectly to male bashing. The individual that deserves it, yes. The entire population of that individual's type, don't think so.

Yes, the people in this forum are great. I have learned a lot from them and have been made better by associating with them.

Why can't you still build the run, just don't let them out until the grass grows back a bit?

Sterling, Ak. That's what I was thinking but I got sidetracked.

Thank you for the voice of reason.

BTW. I used to live in Alaska. My uncle had a mining claim on the Kenai.

Really?

Care to tell me where it is?

j/k... We're just outside of Kenai. Where were you?

(sorry for the hyjack!)

Mrs. AK.

It's a sad story. The claim is no longer. It used to be by Hope Junction. I think it was on Canyon Creek. The highway was rerouted and he lost the rights to the claim. He moved to Georgia and passed away a few years ago. Although cancer killed him I think he also had a broken heart after progress took his claim and he left Alaska. The old log house has since been moved to Hope and is part of a museum or something there.

This hijack can continue elsewhere if you want.

* Lame??? What an excellent idea!! I think I'll lame him good and proper!! Just need to find my possum stick. . . . . . . Now, where DID that stick go?????? "Man-bashing", indeed!! HONESTLY-- What do you expect when men cut down grass they aren't supposed to cut and sell places they aren't supposed to sell, at the wrong heights and wrong prices, anyway?!? I think she's got it-- SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG with the math skills of these guys-- at the very least.
