My hair color of choice (sort of) is ‘naturally invisible’.It's hair and easily changed if you decide you don't like it. Give it a try.
Very seventies. Imagine vacuuming that every day!Looks like the seventies to me.
I remember a true Dutch story that took place in Michigan I think. Part of my family that had moved to MI from FL made friends with a Dutch neighbor. My family members wanted to go somewhere and their Dutch friend was going to go along to guide them. After they had driven part of the way they were approaching a place where they needed to make a left turn and were traveling in the right lane. Their Dutch friend couldn't at the moment remember the English word or "Left". All she could do was say "Squeeze Me". That's the way I remember this very old story from the 30's or very early 40's. I tried to get a translation online to verify the Dutch word for this but gave up.? I dont get this.
Thought I bothered to correct my own post when I realised something spooky happened while colouring my hair. True I didn’t realise my mistake until after the response.
Subtleties are difficultin a foreign language (sigh).
I remember that version. That is absolutely NOT what I had in mind!Yeah, it was called "bluing." To cover the yellow-y tinge that some grey has.

Stuck on its back like a beetle.Very seventies. Imagine vacuuming that every day!
Today a Roomba would fall in there and never get out.![]()
Some old plastics turn yellow with age. There's this hydrogen peroxide stuff you put on it to make it white again, and from what I've seen of dying Nana's hair, it's a similar process. Rub the stuff in then cover with plastic.Yeah, it was called "bluing." To cover the yellow-y tinge that some grey has.

It's not "gray" hair, it's 'Arctic Blonde." No more senior moments; they're BLONDE moments, now!Closest I ever did todyingdye my hair was a red colour washing when I was in my teens.
Later on I used natural Henna ‘dye’. My hair never ended up like straw. Bc my own color is brown it only gave a red shade/hue.
The cheapest way to dye your hair and to give your hair a treat.
€9,- / 1 kilo / 3 years.

Changed the recipe last year (50% Cassia) with more grey hare coming in.
Edit: Im alive and kicking. Correct spelling = I dye my hair / i dyed my hair.
Do the purple streak, anyway ... and post pics! I bet'll it'll look GRAND!I always said that when my hair went completely grey I would add a purple streak.
Unfortunately it remains stubbornly dull mouse brown except at the front.
LOVE that show!!Why wait if you want it now?
Mouse brown with grey and a purple streak sounds wonderfully colourful.
And if you prefer completely grey with one ore more purple streaks this is an option too.
Somehow this reminded me me watching an English comedy with Hyacinth (Bouquet) Bucket. Thought she had pink hair in one of the episodes. But I cant find it online.
Now Im starting to doubt my own hard drive /grey cells.
Im so old my memory gets mixed with fantasy.
