I'm so old I Remember when:

I put a few dollars on their bottom line in my youth. None since. I have a bottle from the 60's of anther brand I hope I can still dig up. After the moves over several states it's probably buried in a box.

Back in the eighties
I remember selling in a five and dime like store with a pharmacy
Aqua Velva Brut English Leather Old Spice
And something that started with a P that had a “dapper” man on the can wearing a tux top hat with a cane

That was so true around in many rural states. I know that Walmart made a small fortune selling those gun racks. I remember having one as late as the early 80's. I don't remember the exact price but I think it was around $12 that would buy a poor mans hunting rifle in the 50's.
Congratulations!!!

I remember when wedding bands were all 14K yellow gold.

14K yellow gold turned me green

When I was a junior in high school I wanted an emerald ring ring instead of a class ring and it turned my finger green where it touched

And in college I got a rose necklace and it turned my neck green where it touched and that was the last time 14K yellow gold for me over 40 years ago

I became until sometime during COVID pandemic when I stopped wearing earrings I only wore sterling siver or stainless jewelry

***edit*** I don’t know what the carot was only that it was yellow gold and came from Goldstein

My wife's is. I know there is a reason that pure gold was not used normally as it is to soft and doesn't wear well. 10K if memory is correct can tarnish easily. 24K gold was used I believe for other jewelry that wasn't worn were it would be exposed to elements as for necklace. Memory is very vague but I do remember game shows awarding 24K jewelry as prizes way back when.

I never paid attention to the differences in gold so my previous post may be incorrect

All I know is it came from Goldstein’s and it was some kind of yellow gold and it turned my skin green
